Chilli Paste
Chilli Paste
A flavourful and spicy chilli-based Sri Lankan classic. Ready to eat straight out of the bottle. Rich, spicy, and deeply savoury, Delight's Chilli paste partners perfectly as a side condiment for Rice dishes, Noodles, and Kotthu roti.
Great for use as a dipping sauce, a stir-fry base, a marinade, a sandwich spread, or simply stirred through rice, noodles, or eggs to lift an everyday meal. Delight Chilli paste is very versatile, so you can be as creative as you want with it.
Crafted from a base of vegetable oil, chilli flakes, onion, garlic, and prawns, the ingredients are slow-cooked together until the onions turn sweet and golden, the chilli flakes release their smoky heat, and the prawns lend a signature umami depth. The result is a thick, glossy, red-hued paste with bold chilli warmth balanced by a savoury seafood richness.
Every batch is prepared in a hygienic facility that is GMP and HACCP certified, under stringent supervision, ensuring consistent quality, food safety, and authentic flavour in every jar.
